Who are we
Devon Building Contractors Ltd are based in Exeter, Devon. We have a combined experience between the team of well over 100 years.
We specialise in structural work, extensions, renovations, alterations and cob & lime works and are happy to undertake all aspects of building and maintenance from full hosing estates to unblocking a gutter.

At Devon Building Contractors Ltd we have our own in-house structural engineer who can design all the elements that are required for your project. This means that there is no waiting for information to come from third parties, everything is dealt with from within the company ensuring it is a lot more cost effective for you, the client.

We also employ a full design team that can carry out every aspect from concept to the completed design of your dream property. Site surveys, full drawings, liaising with listed building authorities, dealing with building regulations applications can all be offered in-house allowing us to have more control over your project.

Masons, carpenters, plasterers, groundworkers, general builders and many more skilled personnel all work very closely with our subcontractors to ensure your project runs smoothly and on time.

Any project, big or small, is assigned a Project Manager. This is essential for the smooth running of any project. From providing a programme of works, procuring trades and materials for your project to ensuring Health and Safety is adhered to, the project manager will keep an eye on everything.

We undertake our own Health and Safety Assessments at the start of and throughout every project. We work very closely with an Independent Health and Safety Advisor who visits of all our sites on a regular basis.
Our main aim is that everyone goes home at the end of the day.
